Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and store construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by sweeping, hauling debris, and removing trash.
- Equipment Prep: Assist in the setup and basic maintenance of construction tools and machinery.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic safety protocols and the willingness to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
