Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations, including outlets, lighting, and switches.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tool organization and site cleanup.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely to complete assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler or tape measure.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the day.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses as training progresses.
- A strong desire to learn and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
