Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Prepare materials and tools for daily tasks to maximize efficiency.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or material shortages immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to obtain an electrical apprenticeship or license.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
