Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and mounting electrical boxes.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and adhere to strict safety standards.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with local codes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project timelines and tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to learn and open to receiving on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to work sites.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
