Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and connecting terminals.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they function correctly using multimeters and other testing equipment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain job progress and answer questions.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from company vehicles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Willingness to learn and a strong desire to pursue a long-term career in the electrical trade.
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites across Nashville and surrounding areas.
- No prior experience required; we provide the training.
