Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including connecting wires, terminals, and circuit components.
- Utilize hand tools (drills, saws) and power tools safely and efficiently to complete projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify faults or defects and report findings to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
