Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults and issues efficiently to restore power and functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and safety.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional service.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Ohio.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional electrical experience.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and electrical codes.
- Tools: Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for the trade.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
