Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including conduit bending, terminal connections, and outlet installations.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Document work performed and report any material shortages or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various environments (extreme heat/cold).
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the electrical trade.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement is a plus but not required.
