Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine site inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Prepare and organize work areas, including hauling materials and cleaning up debris.
- Learn and apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all project phases.
- Document work orders and time logs accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the project management team regarding progress and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and measuring materials.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in NY and IL.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
