Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and repairs.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Install Wiring Systems: Run conduit, pull wire, terminate components, and ensure proper grounding.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with clients and provide status updates on work in progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid, clean driving record required for job site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements and calculations.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than prior experience.
