Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Utilize hand tools, test meters, and power equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience as a licensed electrician.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
