Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsInstall and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with NEC standards
- Document work orders and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain Virginia electrician apprentice license
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Virginia Beach
