Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical diagramsFollow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Install/conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical panels
- Document work orders and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required - we train from scratch!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Oakland
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass background/drug screening (pre-employment)
