Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) under skilled supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and execute verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform excavation, grading, and concrete finishing tasks as assigned
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible weekday availability
