Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics
- Install wiring, conduits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures under supervision
- Perform safety inspections and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Learn and adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
- Document work progress and complete required paperwork accurately
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Willingness to obtain Oregon electrical apprentice certification
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
