Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Participate in on-the-job training and skill development sessions
- Perform basic circuit testing and troubleshooting under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Document work activities and complete daily reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship requirements
- Basic math and measurement skills
- No criminal background (pre-employment screening required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Central Florida
