Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform basic pipe fitting, fixture repairs, and drain cleaning under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and tools
- Document work orders and inventory materials accurately
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
- Basic hand tool proficiency (will train on specialized equipment)
- Clean background check and drug screen required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
