- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform wiring, conduit bending, and circuit testing under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and local electrical codes
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper tool management
- Document work progress and complete daily reports accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Long Beach
- Willingness to obtain California electrician certification within 6 months
- Team player with excellent communication skills
