Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand piping layouts.
- Perform basic tasks such as pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Interact with customers to explain repair needs and answer questions professionally.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical stamina required (ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for long periods).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain required plumbing licenses and certifications.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculations.
