Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential/commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn and apply electrical safety protocols and building codes
- Install wiring, conduits, outlets, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper tool management
- Complete technical documentation and inspection preparations
- Participate in ongoing skills development and safety training
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required - training provided!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to completing 4-year apprenticeship program
