Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial installations
- Learn and follow electrical safety protocols and building codes
- Prepare job sites, organize tools, and maintain equipment
- Read basic blueprints and technical specifications
- Perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installations under supervision
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills development training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Columbus
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
