Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects and installations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials
- Basic understanding of hand/power tools and construction safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored apprenticeship program
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
