Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify electrical issues
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components
- Document work activities and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and adhere to OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored apprenticeship program
- Pass background check and drug screening
