Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project-specific duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress reporting
- Complete quality control checks and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and practices
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and at elevated heights
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, etc.) preferred but not required
