Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Use hand/power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and circuit testing
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and electrical codes at all times
- Prepare job sites, clean work areas, and maintain tools/equipment
- Participate in 6-month paid apprenticeship program with mentorship
- Complete certification training for electrical fundamentals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior electrical experience required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to completing 2000-hour apprenticeship program
