Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential/commercial electrical installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Perform system inspections, testing, and troubleshooting
- Install/conduit wiring, panels, switches, and lighting fixtures
- Maintain clean worksites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Document work progress and complete technical reports
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math and measurement skills
