- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Safely operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Perform inspections and troubleshooting of residential/commercial circuits
- Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC/Texas regulations)
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- No experience required – training provided
- Willingness to obtain Texas electrician apprentice certification within 6 months
