Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Install, connect, and test wiring, circuits, and fixtures according to safety standards.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including multimeters, conduit benders, and wire strippers.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and site conditions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; technical school certification is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and measurement is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and willingness to obtain a journeyman license in the future.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
