Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes (NECA, NEC)
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects
- Document work activities and maintain safety logs
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical principles
- Valid California Electrician Trainee Certificate (ET) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
