Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor electrical issues under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and safety concerns.
- Handle materials and tools with care to prevent injury or damage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of math and measurement is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Seattle area.
