Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and safety regulations during all tasks
- Participate in on-the-job training for wiring, circuit testing, and equipment troubleshooting
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA standards
- Document work progress and complete daily reports accurately
- Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Contribute to team projects and collaborative problem-solving
- Progressively take on more complex responsibilities as skills develop
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Commitment to safety and willingness to learn technical skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the region
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within first 6 months
