Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation of electrical systems (wiring, outlets, panels)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Adhere to strict safety standards (OSHA, NEC) on job sites
- Maintain organized tool inventory and workspace cleanliness
- Document work progress and complete daily reports
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Basic hand tool proficiency (screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain California Electrician Trainee certification
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Long Beach area
