Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment
- Collaborate with contractors and clients for project specifications
- Document work completion and maintain safety records
- Train junior electricians on best practices
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico electrician license or journeyman certification
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in troubleshooting residential/commercial systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions
