Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Assist senior electricians with panel upgrades, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters and specialized equipment
- Document project progress and maintain clean work sites
- Participate in emergency call-out rotations for critical repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for voltage/load calculations
- Willingness to obtain Oregon Electrical Trainee certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
