Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and safety checks on electrical components
- Collaborate with senior electricians to diagnose complex electrical issues
- Adhere to all OSHA and National Electrical Code standards
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
- Assist in emergency electrical repairs and after-hours call-outs as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to pursue state electrical licensing
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
