Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to execute precise electrical layouts
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters and circuit analyzers
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Title 24 regulations
- Collaborate with senior electricians on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Document work progress and maintain accurate job-site logs
- Participate in safety training and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and Ohm's Law
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain California Electrician Trainee certification
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Bay Area
