Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential/commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to execute tasks
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and components
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters, circuit testers, and specialized tools
- Conduct inspections and prepare detailed work reports
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects and emergency call-outs
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool familiarity
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain California electrical certification (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Fresno County
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment)
