Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems under supervision.
- Basic Wiring: Perform routine wiring tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and connecting outlets and switches.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Handling: Operate power tools, test meters, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete time cards and report daily progress to lead electricians.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Driver’s License: Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic proficiency in mathematics for reading blueprints and making accurate measurements.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Apprenticeship: Candidates currently in or eligible for an apprenticeship program are preferred.
