Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation during overnight shifts
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and power tools under supervision
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and structural assembly projects
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Collaborate with skilled trades professionals (electricians, carpenters, welders)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
- Document daily progress and material usage reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience operating heavy machinery preferred (bobcat, forklift)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and in diverse weather conditions
