Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems for residential and commercial clients
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure all work complies with California Electrical Code (CEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently
- Collaborate with senior electricians to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in emergency call-out services for critical repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and circuitry
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to pursue state electrician certification (we provide study support)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
