Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E).
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Enthusiasm to learn and a strong desire to pursue a career in electrical work.
- Physical stamina required to work in various environments, including heights, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of math and measurements is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
