Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical faults and safety hazards.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including securing all tools and materials.
- Document all work orders, materials used, and time spent accurately.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and specific requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to obtain an Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license within 12 months.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
