Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance with local and national safety codes (NEC).
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly.
