Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform Routine Inspections: Conduct safety checks and visual inspections of wiring and equipment to ensure compliance with local codes.
- Install Components: Help in the mounting of outlets, light fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical hardware.
- Maintain Tools and Materials: Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and materials.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients to explain work status and answer basic questions.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and reading blueprints.
- Problem Solving: Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot simple electrical issues.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
