Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all workplace protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited electrical trade program OR 6+ months related experience
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuitry
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain California electrician license within 12 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
