Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and circuits to identify hazards, defects, or needed repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Handle and transport materials and equipment safely to and from job sites.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior experience required; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating materials.
