Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping wire, and connecting outlets and switches.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Interact professionally with customers and explain technical details in simple terms.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, measurements) is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and advance your career.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
