Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and other electrical devices according to local codes.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- No prior experience is necessary; Entry Level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of math and the ability to read measurements is helpful.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
