Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending, wire pulling, and panel installations
- Document work orders and maintain project documentation
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of accredited electrical trade program OR 6 months+ relevant experience
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit fundamentals
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to obtain Louisiana electrician apprentice license
- Pass background check and drug screening
