Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by moving obstacles, protecting surfaces, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Testing and Verification: Help test electrical systems to ensure they function according to safety codes and specifications.
- Documentation: Accurately complete timecards and basic job logs daily.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED preferred; technical or trade school training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Work Ethic: A strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to job sites.
